Episode 131: Generation ADHD

When Jimmy was 7 years old, he was diagnosed with ADHD (what's considered today to be a common behavorial disorder). He was prescribed mood-altering drugs that alleviated his hyperactivity, but also made him depressed. Jimmy's story is not unique. Kids all over the US are given similar prescriptions, and a generation of medicated students has emerged.
